The library offered for VS makes this super easy to use. Integration is the key here, with a valid AWS account the SNS library programmatically offers a quick and very effective way of sending out messages via the SNS service. This isn't necessarily a knock on AWS, we used a different provider previously and the same sort of legal red tape existed, but it is a bit of a pain waiting around for the powers that be on the cell networks approving campaigns for SMS.

SNS have limitation of 256 kb some architecture design needs to notify end user or lets say push specific bundle of data to different aws service then 256 kb is too less.
