Its simple and easy to set up the service, the call data and recordings can be easily accessed. In all these years that we have been using their service, we have never really faced any kind of major service related issues. The pricing is a bit on the higher side, especially the sms service cost which is way higher than those offered in the market. Also there could be lot more user data that could be made available which is currently missing.

The SPOCs from Gupshup are helpful, receptive, and solution-oriented. The transaction ID format is non-compatible with excel format. Gupshup should look into changing the format.

There's never any time when I've heard a no from my sales PoC. Whatever customizations are required, the PoC ensures that the same is getting done. Timely completion of the work is the only place where I felt things could have been better. For the project at least, where we collaborated, deadlines were pushed a lot, which sort of affected our go-live plans twice. Hope the same gets better in the coming time.

Integration is the key here, with a valid AWS account the SNS library programmatically offers a quick and very effective way of sending out messages via the SNS service. This isn't necessarily a knock on AWS, we used a different provider previously and the same sort of legal red tape existed, but it is a bit of a pain waiting around for the powers that be on the cell networks approving campaigns for SMS.
